The Gorhar – Barwa Adda Project, officially designated as the Gorhar – Barwa Adda Section, is a major highway infrastructure development located in the state of Jharkhand. Developed along the vital NH-19 (Old NH-2) national highway corridor, this roadway is constructed as a high-capacity Four/Six-Lane Highway. The entire project spans a total length of 80.522 kilometers. The specific stretch of this highway runs from Km 320+810 to Km 400+632, with a final designated Design Km of 401+332.

Strategically, this section holds immense economic value as it forms part of the Golden Quadrilateral Corridor, successfully connecting Dhanbad, Barhi, and the highly traveled Kolkata-Delhi freight route. Because of its key positioning, the corridor carries an exceptionally high volume of commercial, mining, and long-haul freight traffic. From an operational standpoint, the project is executed under an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) - Toll Operate Transfer (TOT) model and is managed by the concessionaire, Rajmarg 1 Projects Private Limited.

To effectively monitor and manage the heavy commercial traffic flowing through this region, structured tolling facilities are integrated into the corridor. Toll operations are centrally processed at the Kulgo Toll Plaza. This plaza is strategically situated at chainage 352+100 and features an expansive 12+12 lane configuration designed to handle high vehicle throughput and minimize transit delays for large commercial fleets.
